Northern SSSI Cave Conservation Monitoring Scheme

A good monitoring form showing the breif details we need for this project. A few minutes effort after a fine trip. Thanks to Patrick Warren and Mark Bradbury ( CPC ) and Becka Lawson ( RRCPC ) A small amount of rubbish was removed from the cave.

The students from York uni cpc kindly provided a report for the area from the Battlefield as far as the Sleepwalker series( which awaits a visit from another team). York uni are setting a fine example having provided a few condition assessments on the caves they have  visited recently. It is hoped that some of the other student groups will help out this summer - no need to wait to be invited, just download a form and e mail a copy back after your trip. address on the form.
